We at the Prometheus Radio Project love being gifted thingamajigs, doohickeys, gizmos and doodads. If you have one of the following items laying around your house, station, office, garage, or basement please donate it to us. Office Supplies
- Desktop organizational supplies- i.e. mailboxes, wire folder organizers
- Ergonomic keyboards
- USB keyboards and mice
- Scissors
- Pens, pencils, markers
- Dry erase boards, markers, erasers, supplies
- 3 hole punches
- Staplers
- Paper ( card stock, colored paper etcetera, foam core). But please no 1 sided paper, we have enough of that, thank you very much!
- Sticker paper
- Fully working copy machine ( we already have enough broken ones!)
- Fully working computers (Pentium 4 or faster, please!)
Tech Equipment
- 3GHz Spectrum analyzer with Tracking Generator (such as the Anritsu MS2721B Spectrum Master)*
- Frequency-agile Modulation Monitor (for example, an Inovonics 531)
- Portable Oscilloscope (such as a Fluke Scopemeter 190 or Tektronix TDS3034C)
- Real RMS Digital Multimeter (like a Fluke 179 or 287)
- Drill, and other power tools
- Hand tools such as wire strippers, especially electricians or plumbers tools
- 3/4 or half inch copper or aluminum pipe
- Electronic learning sets like lots of people have stashed from radio shack
- Soldering irons
- FM Radio transmitters
- Mixers or small radio consoles (please no rotary knob consoles!)
- Video projector
- Video camera
- Audio recording gear and media, such as flash recorders, minidisc recorders, microphones, audio cables (rca,xlr, rca to mini converters etc.)
- Good deep cycle battery, float charger
