One or more of our technical folks can come to your town and help you build the station - just a part or the whole thing! In order to sustain this part of our work, we charge a sliding scale fee to stations that need us to actually travel out there and help put things together. We determine the cost based on the actual resources of the group, how extensive the construction process will be, and how much local help we get to build the station.

Unlike most (though not all) radio professionals, we like working with volunteers. The whole point is to teach the skills as we go, and we see no benefit to hoarding knowledge. Of course, if you just want to have us arrive and take care of everything ourselves, we can do that too. We try and meet your needs as best we can. Studio Construction

We can build to your needs (and budget): A basic mixer with one microphone and a CD player in a dingy room with a bare light bulb hanging from the ceiling, up to an ultra-deluxe state-of-the-art multi-studio facility with all the bells and whistles. We will work with you to meet the needs of your community station: equipment that is durable and easy to use, yet powerful, a layout that accommodates all of the functions you want for the studios, and leave in some room to grow.

Transmitter Facility Construction

Maybe you already have the studio taken care of, but are mystified at the prospect of even putting up a mast on top of the studio building. We can help you with the process of designing and constructing your tower and transmission system - where ever it might be. If need be, we can link that distant transmitter site on the hill to your studio down on Main Street.

All of the above! We can take care of everything from the microphone to the antenna. We can even deal with equipment ordering, logistics, and FCC forms!
