Prometheus has been a clearinghouse of information regarding station's technical problems for years now. We understand that many Low Power radio groups were not originally formed as radio stations - many of you will have backgrounds in social justice, education and community service, but not radio engineering! Hopefully this site can provide the answers to your technical (and other) questions.

• Articles and Documents: Inside you will find guides, how-to documents, and background information on many subjects - towers, audio processing, dealing with the FCC, studio transmitter links, and getting more help with your station.

• Full Power NCE Applications: There is an application window for Full Power (100 to 100,000 Watt) stations on the Non-Commercial Educational (NCE) portion of the FM band - 88 to 92MHz. Check inside to see if this is something your group could and would want to apply for.

• People and Links: Looking for other humans to talk to about your station? Our crackpot advice not cutting it and you want to talk to a "real" engineer? Need a lawyer or second opinion? Inside find some folks that might be able to help.
