Why Prometheus?
“In a state of this size (RI), we can all be part of the same community, with a little help from the radio. As a teenager, listening to college/community radio helped me discover that not only was I not alone, but that my local community was amazing. I wanted others to have that experience. First, that meant having my own radio show(s). Quickly it meant turning my college radio station into a college/community partnership. Now, it also means supporting an amazing organization as it tries to provide as many communities as possible with that opportunity. It has also come full circle, as my station recently was forced into an internet-only situation, and we have again become one of the community groups trying to find our terrestrial radio future.”
