Victory for Diverse and Local Media for American People

The Third District Court of Appeals handed down its decision Thursday on Prometheus Radio Project vs. the FCC -- and it looks like the FCC's media deregulation rules will remain stayed, as the Court demands that the FCC justify its use of massive deregulation of media ownership as a tool to serve the public interest. Congratulations to the Media Access Project, codefendants United Church of Christ, and all the allies and friends who made this victory possible. Let's work even harder for a diverse, locally-controlled media system that represents the real America!
