Prometheus Organizes Localism Hearings in San Antonio and Rapid City! |
Communities Demand More Community Media, Better Regulations from the FCC! The Prometheus Radio Project is one of a number of national groups working in coalition with local groups all over the country -- such as the San Antonio, Texas peace and justice group the Esperanza Center, and the Rapid City, South Dakota Native rights and environmental organization Defenders of the Black Hills to tell the FCC that they need to fight for local perspectives in media, as the FCC holds a series of six hearings on Broadcast Localism.
