With community radio participants coming from across the country, this is an important opportunity for folks to socialize, have fun and meet with other community media makers and supporters. After a day of lobbying, action, and media: people will be hungry for some down-time and yummy food. After dinner we will prepare for FCC and White House visits the following morning.
Cash bar opens at 7:30. After training, lobbying, street theater, and advocacy work: we will be ready to strategize next steps in the fight for expanding LPFM. With all of these brilliant people in DC from across the country, we will use the opportunity to strategize a grassroots action plan for the LPFM victory.
