Prometheus is scheduling a series of visits to Congressional Offices- both Senate and House, as well as theme/caucus specific delegations. With community radio participants coming from across the country, this is an important opportunity for folks to socialize, have fun and meet with other community media makers and supporters. After a day of lobbying, action, and media: people will be hungry for some down-time and yummy food. After dinner we will prepare for FCC and White House visits the following morning.

Cash bar opens at 7:30. Community media supporters from D.C. and beyond are invited to join LPFM Leadership Days participants to socialize and celebrate a long day of lobbying.

Friday, April 24


10am-noon: FCC visit & potential White house visit

Group 1: FCC for a visit, and advocacy work

Group 2: (tentative) White house visit

1pm-5pm: Strategy, debrief session

Location: 218 D st. SE (b/w 2nd & 3rd St.)

After training, lobbying, street theater, and advocacy work: we will be ready to strategize next steps in the fight for expanding LPFM. With all of these brilliant people in DC from across the country, we will use the opportunity to strategize a grassroots action plan for the LPFM victory.
