Full Power Resources

In 2007 and again in 2010 the FCC opened windows for groups to apply for full power non-commercial stations, which means stations 100 watts or bigger.  Just as with LPFMs, Prometheus is working to continue to provide support to non-commercial full power stations and applicants.  We are specifically looking to give assistance to full power applicants that are fighting for social justice and working to use radio to empower their communities.

 

Whether you are an applicant wondering what stage your application is in, or a group with a construction permit ready to start broadcasting, Prometheus would like to provide resources to help you in your work.  In these next two pages there are links to online resources to get ready to build your station as well as information for what to do if your application group hasn't been decided yet.  The process may seem daunting, but we are here to help!
