Full Throttle

Greetings from the Prometheus Radio Project!  In October the FCC will open a FULL POWER NON-COMMERCIAL/EDUCATIONAL FM radio station licensing window.  We want you to have a few basic facts to help you determine whether you should be gearing up to apply for a full power FM radio license or if you should just ignore this whole thing!

Prometheus Wants to Hear from You!

The full power NCE window has closed! Our campaign to help local nonprofits apply for their own radio stations was a huge success. With our collaboration with the Radio for People Coalition, we helped over 200 groups apply, in almost every state and US territory.

There's a long road ahead for those who did apply, and we're still waiting for the dust to settle so that we can see exactly how we did in the initial rush to apply.

As we catch up with housekeeping here at Prometheus, we want to hear from everyone we worked with throughout the Full Power Campaign, even if you only sent us one email or made one phone call. We want to know how the services we offered helped or hindered you in your quest for a radio station. So please--take a few minutes to fill out the survey we've compiled. We will use this information in planning for a future Low Power FM filing window, and your comments will benefit the thousands of people who will need help with a low power application, just as soon as the FCC opens the floodgates.
