WMNF is a 70,000 watt non-commercial, listener supported community radio station. WMNF first went on the air in September, 1979, the result of a few years of hard work by a small group of dedicated volunteers who went door-to-door raising money for Florida's first community radio station. The call letters stand for: Member-sponsored Non-commercial FM. WMNF provides the listening community with eclectic music as well as non-mainstream news, views and public affairs programming.
