International Volunteering
( 1 items )
In the past years, we at Prometheus Radio Project have been
receiving increasingly larger amounts of requests for international
support. We
hear from communties, radio stations, and volunteers who seek advice,
technical assistance or are looking for opportunity to get involved
with radio. However, due to limited resources, we are simply not able
to hop around the world and build all of these stations. With our new
international volunteer matching program, Channel Zero, we can link up
the volunteers we have relationships with to the international
communities looking for various assistance.
Channel Zero will serve as a matching program for international
community radio stations and volunteers. It will allow communities,
organizations, and newly formed stations to be able to post their
profiles and needs on a host site, and volunteers looking for an
oppurtunity to get involved with the intenational radio movement can
find the project they're looking for. Channel Zero is in the process of being developed. For more information, contact petri(at)prometheusradio.org
